It definitely took me a while to come up with a plan for this project, but I feel really solid with my idea now. The story starts out with my dog, Ginny. I want to film from her perspective as she is watching my dad cooking dinner. She may not be the smartest, but she somehow always knows when it’s dinner time (6pm). I want to film her waiting patiently for dinner and my dad saying something like “Just a few more minutes Ginny”, and panning to a clock showing it’s not 6 pm yet. Then I'll have Ginny sleeping, which will lead to the dream sequence where she is animated. In the animation, she dreams she wakes up with hands and goes into the kitchen and starts cooking dinner for herself. I also thought it might be funny to animate my dad with a dog’s body and Ginny saying something like “Ha- now look who has to wait for dinner!” I’ve roughly sketched out some of the frames already and once I can drive to my parents house, likely over the weekend, I’ll be able to get the footage for the in person section of the video. I think I want to use animate cc for the animation part, but I may spend some time experimenting with both to see which will be more efficient for my purposes. Ideally I can draw the pictures of Ginny but I may end up using pictures instead if time doesn’t allow for my original plan.
