Despite having a really big learning curve with both blender and TikTok effect house, I feel pretty successful with my filters. I definitely struggled a lot with the technology side of things, especially when transferring files between my PC and the computers in the lab. The part I’m most happy with is the crown filter, which ironically was not what I planned on doing initially. I really liked how textures were converted on TikTok, and I think it’s a simple but clean filter. The one I think needed more work with is my dinosaur/ cowboy filters. I initially wanted to combine them, but due to time constraints I made separate filters. I originally animated the dinosaur wearing a hat and running on my PC, but when using TikTok effect house, I struggled to import the hat aspect of the animation. I also would like to improve on my use of the head tracker. For all of my filters that used hats the head tracking wasn’t as clear as it could have been especially when the person moves their head up and down, because the back of the hat would sometimes show through the front of the head, and I think I could've played around a lot more with the aspects in the effects house to make my filters a little cleaner and more put together. Ultimately, for it being my first attempt at using blender to create objects, I am proud of what I created but I do think there are areas of improvement.
